As well as the commercial publications detailed elsewhere on this site, we have also produced books and booklets through private commissions.
Individuals and schools have used Glen Graphics to bring to fruition a long-held ambition or a collaborative effort, or to recreate an important document from the past.
SCHOOL HISTORIES
King Edward VII Grammar School in Melton Mowbray wanted an exact reproduction of a history of the school done by a former Headmaster. They were so pleased with the result they asked us to do part 2, which brought the history up to the present day.
The Duke’s School in Alnwick asked Glen Graphics to produce a book detailing the history of this long-established school, too.
ORGANISATIONS
Wooler U3A asked us to produce a booklet detailing the production of their Millennium tapestry, using images from local members and involving a committed team who brought this beautiful creation to fruition. In addition it sold in large numbers!
Members of Cramlington St. Nicholas’ Church wanted to raise money through the sale of a recipe book, using recipes from the community. Glen Graphics produced an attractive an popular booklet very quickly, which has proved very popular.
POETRY
We have worked closely with a number of local poets to help them get their work into print. Because we can produce short runs of books and booklets and can sell direct to the writer themselves, this can help them ‘dip a toe in the water!’
